Best practices to clean the binding posts on your speakers and amps?

I'm moving my speakers around again due to a low WAF where they are now and It's been a while since I cleaned the binding/plugin posts on my speakers and also on my amps.  I currently am trying banana plugs to hook up my speaker wire, and I want the best contact with a smooth, clean connection.  What do you guys do?

I have always just unplugged and replaced power cables, but IC’s and speaker cables have always received Deoxit D100 at least once a year. It’s just habit more than anything.

🕸️Best habit is also to turn the gear off first.  Or 💥⚡️🌪️💸

There's a lot of great comments here; And a lot of derision. considering the depths that people go to here in their path to sonic purity I thought a physical connection was worthy of consideration.

Oh Faustass, you are HILARIOUS my man---and so full of helpful commentary.

I use a combination of isopropyl alcohol and red and gold Deoxit. No one has mentioned this but anything more than 70% isopropyl alcohol can be caustic and wear away at the surface. But don’t use 70% on anything internal!
