I ordered from them once and cancelled the next day and was still charged a fee so the 2 week window isn’t accurate in my US customer experience. Won’t buy from them again.
Rough Trade Records - Beware Before Ordering
Has anyone dealt with this store before? They are based in the UK and I have yet to receive any items I ordered including a record and some merch. I have waited 6-8 weeks and more for items which were never delivered. I would periodically get a message from the company stating that my order was being prepared for delivery and that was it. So, I just cancelled my order and will receive a refund less 8% because the cancelation was beyond the 2-week cancelation period.

I have ordered from the Rough Trade Records UK and US websites at least a hundred times. Never had any serious problems. They have decent customer service and have always replaced any defective products quickly. Just saying. Oh, and BTW, you can thank Mr. 'Art of the Deal' Trump for all the f’d up Customs BS. That’s 100% ON US. |

As opposed to some Music sellers on Audiogon, you can trust the vinyl grading accuracy on Eil if my experience is any indicator. "They are known for strict and reliable grading, especially compared to the more volatile experiences often reported on other marketplaces" If there is a title you really want in great, playable condition on your hi-end rig, go with Eil.com. |
