Snell C/V

I have found a pair of Snell C/V speakers that look to be in excellent condition. Seller is asking $1,100 USD. I have a nice pair of Snell Type D that I really like, and I also have a pair of C/lV that are in the rotation. Any opinions on whether the C/V are worth the asking price and are they a worthy upgrade ?  My equipment:  Van Alstine SET 400 Amp, Van Alsttine Tube Preamp, Merason Frerot DAC, Innuos Zen Mk 3 Streamer. Listening room is aprox. 18' x 28'. Thanks for any insight or advice.
