Record cleaning fluid for degritter machine

So using the advice of this and other forums, I purchased the surfactant Tergitol 15-S-9 and a small bottle of 91% isopropyl alcohol to replace the record cleaning additive that degritter sells to add to the distilled water after degassing.  Since only a few drops of the degritter solution are required, I figure that adding a couple of drops of the surfactant and of the alcohol sounds about right.  What do you think?

I understand now.  Hence Bill Stevenson’s advice to ditch the alcohol and just go with the surfactant in the degritter.  Thank you Mr. Antinn.   Now I need to read your book!

@antinn Have you ever considered making a hard copy of your book?  I am quite certain there would be a sizable market for it.  Like most folks I do not mind reading downloaded material but I would prefer a hard copy for the ease of looking up stuff.

@lubachl

Have you ever considered making a hard copy of your book?

The answer is no.  Couple of reasons - the demand for a hard copy version is quite low - only a few people have asked, and a hard-copy version can get expensive especially when considering the different editions.  The electronic format is convenient; it easily supports new editions; it allows a drop-down table of contents to be displayed to jump to any Chapter, and the document is cross-linked to jump to any reference; the PDF version has an easy search function, and in PDF, alt-back arrow allow you to return to wherever you were.
