Gone but not forgotten

What HiFi makers that are now out of business do you miss? Personally, I can think of 2 brands that made great gear and are gone and that I miss - Nakamichi is one- and that was inevitable as the cassette world virtually disappeared. The other was California Audio Labs- I thought they made genuinely good digital gear.

Nakamichi lives on at my house....

PA-7A MKII amp and CA-7A pre-amp, both fully refurbished/restored.

I lament the loss of the Nakamichi company and OPPO disc players; and I fear soon Spectral Audio. I will put my "Immaculate, like brand new", near last manufactured Dragon Cassette Deck serial # A801-29325 for sale shortly with wired remote and original promotional literature. I also own one of the near last manufactured OPPO 205. I've been lucky

@ptss Also an Oppo 205 owner. Sweating it out regarding Laser replacement. Anyone had their 205 Laser replaced lately? I'm pretty sure, even with a dead Laser, that this machine can still be used as a DAC. I love my 205.
