Wilsons new flagship

Maybe I am getting old but Wilsons new flagship $780k  and they feel it is justified,

lit gets better if you want custom paint $110,000 they said it takes 2 days to paint both speakers, Jays audio lab commented and I think it was way too much and 

$110k for $300 in paint is nuts that is truly taking advantage of everyone with wealth, imo only an idiot would pay that. I guess nothing should surprise me any more !!

Why should I care about how others spend their money? People spend all kinds of money on all kinds of things.

What folks may not realize is that the number of wealthy people has reached a critical mass wherein they can keep all these uber expensive product manufacturers in profit. What appears exorbitant to us is merely small change for them. Ergo, this $780k speaker is extraordinary but affordable. Just not to us.

Walked into a dealer a few months ago, and they asked if I would like to hear the dedicated system built around the new Sonus Faber $850,000 5 piece speaker system (knowing I was not a customer for them). They were truly incredible. I don't think value is an issue for those who are looking at 7 figure systems...
