Turntable ground

@skso1 - 4 cables? can you elaborate? where did you connect them?

I recently bought a SLQ2. I removed the captive interconnect and installed RCA panel jacks. I did leave the OEM ground wire intact and am using it for the ground. It is soldered to a small panel and could easily become disconnected or loose. You might want to check it out. Not too difficult to get to.

@motown-l  I also replaced my hardwired rca cables and put in rca jacks on the table and upgraded rca cables. At the same time updated the ground wire, but as mentioned above there is no hum when ground is disconnected.
