Turntable ground

I've always wondered why there's no standard for ground in electonics. I think that would solve many problems for people.

@skso1 - 4 cables? can you elaborate? where did you connect them?

I recently bought a SLQ2. I removed the captive interconnect and installed RCA panel jacks. I did leave the OEM ground wire intact and am using it for the ground. It is soldered to a small panel and could easily become disconnected or loose. You might want to check it out. Not too difficult to get to.
