Aren't you going to keep your DAC just long enough to hear the difference between the N130 and the Lumin as a streamer only? Curious at all? After 200 hours on burn in of course.
And congrats on the new source!
Seeking Recommendations for a Streamer (No DAC)
Hi All,
Unfortunately I could not get an Aurender N100h to work with my BlackIce Glass FX Tube DAC so it's going back.
It's a known issue with Aurender, they even have a "bug fix" built into the app but in my case it didn't work.
I'm looking for a dedicated streamer, no DAC, optimized for USB to replace a NODE N130.
Budget is ~$1,000 used.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
@mclinnguy Excellent question and I had not really thought about it. But yes, why not right? And yes after some burn in time. Thank you! |
I've read some good things about the new Matrix Audio NT-1 streamer. It comes in at $4000. I know that sounds expensive but it is a pure no frills all about the sound streamer that competes with the big boys. A bunch of people over at the Holo Audio forum are switching from the Holo Audio Red to this and are very pleased with the outcome. The Holo Audio Red is a nice streamer that does a lot of things. |
