Seeking Recommendations for a Streamer (No DAC)

Hi All,

Unfortunately I could not get an Aurender N100h to work with my BlackIce Glass FX Tube DAC so it's going back. 

It's a known issue with Aurender, they even have a "bug fix" built into the app but in my case it didn't work.

I'm looking for a dedicated streamer, no DAC, optimized for USB to replace a NODE N130.

Budget is ~$1,000 used.

may be best sound you can get for the money. ROON ready.  Small Green Computer has some good pricing on new right now

iFi Zen Stream 3 ~$400 new

Gets the job done with good USB implementation

Leaves you money for a $120 iFi power upgrade, if you want

@easystreamer I currently have a BlueSound NODE N130 with the LHY LPS which works well, the app is good and it has native Sirius XM Radio which I like for background/casual listing, so I'm not looking for a lateral or slightly better upgrade.

@bobbyloans Small Green Computer seems very well respected, but I'm unsure about Roon.

Many options. Appreciate all the responses.

ROON is a great resource for all your dreaming subscriptions to go to one place and then feeds to the streamer you can sort everything easily. It’s just a great platform. You should do a little research on it when you can

A good deal on a New Bricasti M5 streamer, NO DAC, approximately $2200    Used, I don't know? I stream Rock and Roll via the M5, and Meitner DAC,  using  Qobuz and Audirvana. Sounds wonderful!  Good luck!
