2026 best deal in audiophile class D stereo amp?

My new super incredible speakers (canton reference 2.2 dc)require power!  Looking for something that will give them 300-500 watts into 8ohms of quality sound.  I’m a tube guy (SET amps) and hoping for something that’s worth it in the $1k to $2k range.  Lot of deals in the used heavy duty class a or or a/b but,  I’m getting old and it’s just as good and only weight 20lbs.... why not try it??

Dude, just go get a Buckeye amp. One of the best measuring amps in the industry and probably the best value, as well.

Depending on your budget, the new Mola Mola Ossetra's are the best sounding Clas D amps out there.  They are easily as good as many $50K+ Class A or AB out there.  I have owned at least a dozen Class D amps including several GaN versions.  The Mola Mola's are the best by a long short.  If you can't afford the Ossetra's, their stereo amp, Perca, are really good as well. In the same system, I also have a tube setup.  It consists of ARC Ref 6SE preamp and Rogue Audio Apollo Dark monos.  Albeit, a different sound, I could easily live with the Class D's.  FYI:  This system has emmLabs Preamp and DAC and Estelon X Diamond speakers, so it is a legitimate reference system.

I second the PS Audio Stellar M700 monos.

I find them extremely adaptable to whatever I’ve sent through them and they do the job, expertly, without banging you over the head with a particular sound. It’s just power that doesn’t sound like it’s there.

Does that make any sense?

I used to like the sound of some of my former amplifiers. I used to really love my Krell sound, but the m700s just get out of the way.

That’s a pretty good trick.

Take a look at Buckeye Hypex or PURIFI class D amps at very reasonable pricing.  I have a Hypex NCx500 3-Channel amp which has a lot of power, dead silent, and very accurate.  They drive Arendal 1528 speaker models. The cases are not going to win any aesthetic awards but they serve their purpose and keep pricing affordable.  The price to performance ratio is very palatable.
