2026 best deal in audiophile class D stereo amp?

I was watching the YouTube channel of The Greek Audio Geek the other day (I like him as his channel is not monetized and he doesn't get free stuff to push; he just talks about gear he's bought that he really likes, including from Aric Audio, and he seems to know what he's talking about) and he was raving about this Teac Class D amp AP 701 in their reference line enough to perk up my interest. I was going to order one on Amazon ($4000) and try it out and return it if I didn't like it, but I found a used one at The Music Room for half that price and just ordered it, and I can return it to them within 30 days, too. It's been out for a few years now too...

Dude, just go get a Buckeye amp. One of the best measuring amps in the industry and probably the best value, as well.

Depending on your budget, the new Mola Mola Ossetra's are the best sounding Clas D amps out there.  They are easily as good as many $50K+ Class A or AB out there.  I have owned at least a dozen Class D amps including several GaN versions.  The Mola Mola's are the best by a long short.  If you can't afford the Ossetra's, their stereo amp, Perca, are really good as well. In the same system, I also have a tube setup.  It consists of ARC Ref 6SE preamp and Rogue Audio Apollo Dark monos.  Albeit, a different sound, I could easily live with the Class D's.  FYI:  This system has emmLabs Preamp and DAC and Estelon X Diamond speakers, so it is a legitimate reference system.

This company flies under the radar but has excellent, well engineered products.
