It's 2026 and we still have people looking to tame sound with cables. We should all be embarrassed by that, and honestly angry with the industry. In any case, the problem is your placement, your room/acoustics, or your speakers. There is no compo...
High Performance & Low Cost
Thanks for your subjective opinions. Here's an objective take: high quality stereo systems are not expensive. This is 2026, not 1973.

Do Audiophiles Hear Real Differences, or Are They Justifying Expensive Purchases?
If they're saying that power cords or speaker cables change sound, they're not audiophiles. Same goes for most (but not all) amps.
The Best Sounding Systems can Play Loudly with Low Distortion
All subjective. Some people don't like to listen loudly.
1st Impression, Join the Forum?
My first impression of these forums is there are a lot of fake audiophiles who don't really know anything about this hobby or the science of sound in general. Many folks simply fall back on marketing jargon and spew ignorance like expensive speake...
What type of cables make the most difference

An Audio Amateur's question about McIntosh Audio
McIntosh amps are good but they don't measure great, even compared to amps that cost MUCH less. You're paying for the look and the name, that's it.
Power Cable Suggestions.
What happened to the cable that came with your unit? And there's no reason to spend that much money on a power cord.
New to Class D / Purifi - thoughts before I purchase, details below
Buckeye is the top tier of Class D amps today. And the service/support is unparalleled.
Surge Protectors & Power Conditioners
First, anything less than a whole home surge protector is a waste of your time and money. They aren't that expensive. But remember the only way to avoid damage to any electrical device from a direct lightning strike is to have them physically unpl...

Audiophiles and Our Chase for Perfection
I put true audiophiles in a category that understands physics and the science of sound. So anyone claiming that their expensive cables sound better or different than plain old 12AWG OFC is just an amatuer.
