SAE is still in the game, with the SAE 2HP-D.... 746 watts Per Chennel - ULTRA HIGH END Power Amplifier. It can be purchased today at SAE... Scientific Audio Electronics Store in Los Angeles California... Sale Price $24,000.

It is the same company from the 70s but they moved on to only produce ULTRA HIGH-END POWER AMPLIFIERS.

It is praised by the Audiophile Community as being a low priced Ultra High End Power amplifier KILLER outperforming units costing 2 to 3 times as much in the Ultra High End AB Class of power amplifiers.

The A501 250 watts Per Ch or the A1001 500 watts Per Ch... if you can find one recapped or have it recapped, they are also very good sounding Audiophile Power Amplifiers that are considered Giant Killers in its class for power output with Great Sounding Highs and Deep Smooth Bass.

Thanks for the info. I used to sell SAE, back in the day. Definite step up from the mainstream stuff. The ultra high end niche they're now in must be amazing.
