This is how you POST PHOTOS

I’m an old man (77), U can do it.

INSERT Photo in an Audiogon Post

  1. Write some yap about your subject in a post here
  2. Open a new Window in your Browser
  3. Find a Photo already uploaded to the web  (repeat:  already uploaded to the web
  4. RIGHT CLICK on the PHOTO
  5. Popup menu appears
  6. ‘copy image address’ (that is the image's URL)
  7. Back to Your Audiogon Post
  8. Click in Top bar: 6th icon from left: (mountains with moon)
  9. Popup window appears
  10. Paste URL in the box (cursor is blinking)
  11. Size: enter 600 in the width box (that's 600 pixels) aspect ratio is maintained, no need to enter the height)
  12. OK
  13. SAVE

 

Get your photo on the web

1. Make a Virtual System on this site,

2. label it 'My Uploaded Photos'

3. upload photos to it, NOW they are on the web!

I use ImgBB. After up loading an image you get a link to post into the add a picture window up above in the posting option bar. Easy enough.. @audphile1 says be sure to resize. Also easy or if not sometimes psychedelic.

just don't look for photos on posts older than a year or so... unless you made an account on the image upload site and posted it with your login.

It's pretty much the same as any BB forum software, when the forum doesn't host attachments.

Like many keyboard operations, there are a couple of ways.

Easiest(at least to me)

Outline the pic with your mouse/touchpad:

Cntrl/C  (copy)

Cntrl/V (paste) 

 It's just a basic keyboard shortcut useful when using something like MS Word.

Outline a pic is also:

Shift/windows key/S(copy)

Alot less involved than the above.
