Looking for SACD player

I want to replace my Jay's Audio CDT2-MK2 with an SACD player that would be used as a player (with it's own DAC) for SACDs and as a transport to a Berkeley Alpha 3 DAC for regular CDs.  I have Prima Luna EVO 400 amp and preamp and Devore Gibbon X speakers.

I have been looking at the Luxman D-07X, but it's a little out of my preferred price range (up to $10K).  I have also listened to a Marantz 30N and while it sounded OK, it has a lot of extras (network, bluetooth, etc) that I don't need or want.

Please don't recommend that I switch to streaming.  I prefer physical media.

Thanks

@coppy777 I have owned a bunch of CD/SACD players and my current end game is the Esoteric K-01XD se.  I know that is out of the price range.  I can only comment on the Sony and Marantz players as modified by ModWright.  I belive the current Esoteric players in the XD or se versions are excellent players.  If you can find a dealer demo with a warranty on a Esoteri K-03XD or se version at your price point, I don't think you would be disaponited,  I'm am very picky about my digital front end.  The XD versions changed the sound profile to be more analogl but still giving a clear presentation

Someone mentioned the Onix Zenith. It sounds ok but does not do gapless. Deal breaker for me.

Does your Berkeley have I2S? If it does, I believe it will work with the new PS Audio PMG CD Transport.  $8999 shipped.

@curiousjim

The Berkeley does not have I2S and it does not do DSD.   So the PSAudio transport is a no go.  That's why I need an SACD player rather than a transport.
