Trouble with Qobuz

Hello all - I am running an Innuos Zenith Mk3 into the DAC 2 contained in my McIntosh 9500 integrated.  The Innuos is hardwired to a Google Mesh extender.  I use Qobuz to stream music. And that's the problem.

The Innuos is compatible with Qobuz Connect.  Connect worked for a while but now is, at best, intermittent.  When it's not playing the app just tells me that a song cannot be played due to an unidentified "error."

Qobuz plays perfectly on the Innuos Sense app and the BluSound app.

I contacted Qobuz through their chatbox.  I was first given to an AI functionary.  I was offered generic and worthless suggestions.  I was soon transferred to a real person.  I was given, again, very basic and worthless suggestions.  My problem now is that I haven't heard from Qobuz since December 5, even though I have sent 2 follow up texts.  I have also emailed Qobuz which has gone unanswered.

My questions to you all are:  Do any of you have suggestions as to how to fix my Qobuz technical problem?  If not, do you have any ideas as to how I can get Qobuz to respond to me?

Thanks!

Ken

I love Qobuz for sound quality. I hate Qobuz for everything else.

Their app is not the best (on Android at least, can't speak for Apple). Lots of weird behavior and even the UI is not great.

Their streaming is slower on my desktop with or without Roon, Tidal much faster to start playing a track. This is with gigabit internet so no problem there.

Their catalog sometimes has weird holes in it. Every service has their problems here but I encounter this more with Qobuz than Tidal or Apple Music.

Too bad, I love the SQ probably most above any other service. Wish they would get their stuff together.

There’s a known issue going on with qobuz where some tracks are not playing.
Apparently they’re migrating either within the same cloud service or to another cloud service. Don’t know don’t care. Had enough with them and roon.
Using tidal and jplay to stream now. No issues.

I started this thread back in January. Qobuz has just kept getting worse. Over the weekend fully 1/3 of the songs I wanted to play, even those in my favorites list, just wouldn’t play. I think Qobuz sounds better than any other streaming service, but I’m about done with it. I may have to go back and try Tidal again.

Tidal sounds at least as good as qobuz and in most cases better, to my ears, in my system. And it works.

If you are running a mesh node with the same wifi name and password as your original router wifi, you may have problems with getting your equipment to connect to the mesh node instead of your old router.  Turn off the wifi from your original router, so, just the mesh node wifi is available.   After doing this, for some equipment, it will not connect to wifi.   It will say unavailable.   So, you will have to go to each piece of equipment and "forget" the network, then, re-connect it again -- even though they are the same name and password.   I had to do this and it fixed all my equipment that uses wifi.   They are now all using the mesh node wifi - which has way better performance.
