AI saids Vinyls needs to be stored 90 degrees. I had mine at about 70 degrees. Thoughts?

I own about 20 vinyls (some rare DJ mixes or 12 inch mixes). Most of them came from the 90s. I keep my house in about the degree range of 77-80 (I am the type to get cold easy). I kept my vinyls in a milk crate. Most them were stored at angle about 70 degrees. AI saids this is very bad and they could have some warping. Any thoughts, please?

1. Don’t use AI for hifi questions

2. Call them records or albums…Vinyls brands you as a recent record collector with little knowledge of record collecting

3. Store records upright in a supported but not tight cabinet. And in a temp controlled area at 30% or lower humidity if possible

Isn't referring to LP records as vinyls like calling the tires on your car rubbers or an acoustic guitar a wood?

I like AI when it tells me it’s okay to enjoy my system.  8^)

I dislike AI when it’s blatantly wrong and yet speaks as though its confidence is oracular.

On the other hand, AI has suggested that I might like to pair the Herron 360 with the Pass Aleph 5, with a pair of efficient speakers. I mention this because it has come around to pointing this out on two occasions now. I’m intrigued, and I’m going to look into speakers like Volti and Devore later this week in Schaumburg.

I like to keep my vinyls vertical, so there’s that.

I’d also welcome getting together with anyone who’d enjoy some food and drink, and post game analysis at AXPONA.

Can't speak to vinyls. But I keep my records at room temp. Improves the taste.

90 degrees straight up....unless your place doesn't get as hot as a pizza oven....your ok.lol
