Roon Issues - Not able to play certain tracks

I have been running into this issue when Roon is in the radio mode where spontaneously it runs into a track it can’t play. It just sits there trying to play it.
When I go to that album and attempt to manually play that same track on Qobuz the result is the same - it won’t play. Plays other tracks from the albums just fine.
If I go back to Roon radio and skip that track the next song is played no issues.
No such problems with Tidal.

I have rebooted the Roon Nucleus One, rebooted my network, rebooted my DAC.
Even signed out of streaming services and signed back in. No bueno. This is in addition to it being sluggish and requiring an almost daily reboot to maintain sound quality and proper operating speed. Now this…

Anyone else with this problem?

@mapman yeah Ruin sucks man. Jplay even sounds better. Good thing I forgot when my free trial of jplay was over and I now have it for a year. Fifty bucks not as fancy as Ruin. At least it works.

@audphile1 FWIW I upgraded my Roon core hardware recently and have found most issues with performance and reliability prior now  resolved.   Not perfect,  but close.   Fast and reliable in general now, even using all WiFi, qobuz, hi res streaming to multiple endpoints, and significant DSP.  I bought lifetime license.  Awesome experience overall.  I do miss going to a record store to see what might be new, but that’s just me waxing nostalgic.  I enjoy more music more of the time now than ever and have learned more about what I listen to faster than ever as well.

This is just my second day with Jplay. Loving it so far, not missing Roon at all. Jplay is so much faster! And I think the graphics look better.

In time I will compare sound quality vs. Squeeze, but it definitely sounds good enough to not worry about from what I can tell.

But, I still have Qobuz tracks that are not playing...

@mapman I need to get past the PTSD with Ruin to even consider spending another dollar on it. I’ve assembled a pretty much kick a$$ vinyl rig and I’ve been buying some sweet new vinyl reissues done in analog cut from original master tapes. Outstanding sound quality.
I’ll be using jplay for time being and will not touch roon.

@mclinnguy yes jplay is awesome. I also reasserted my conclusion about Tidal. Not just in light of Qobuz issues but overall it just sounds better than Q to me in my system. I need to figure out how to configure jplay to be able to read my music library from a hard drive connected to my mac mini. I know I’ll lose the metadata I enjoy with Roon but the sound quality wins over convenience for me. Jplay looks and sounds great though. I agree 100%

I've been having the same issues with Qobuz on Innuos.  Some tracks on an album just get skipped over.  Anybody else having this with Innuos as well?

Thanks
