@jasonbourne71 *wink *wink. I see what you did there with your last comment. I get it now and apologies for almost blowing your cover.

@gkelly : Yeah, it might have been in the 80's when the AudioQuest switchbox appeared and was quickly withdrawn. The last time I smoked real Thai stick was around 1974 in Vancouver. |
After reading the Science Guys review such as it was. I got the impression he was not interested in anything but himself. His results were claimed to be outside the threshold of human perception. I don't see why such people bother. Silver allows push-pull because of the difference between it and copper. Which is audible as 'wholeness'. This After a reasonable time deteriorates because the other parts of the circuit compensate. Those darned electrons doing what they do!. None the less I would not trust the sciencey map, because that is not good engineering |
You know how it goes with asr measurements—why even bother talking about it? Every once in a while, it’s still very annoying to see this type of discussion come up. There are perceived SQ elements that the current testing / measurement could not pick it up. Plus you have the person who can not tell the difference among DACs and largely leaves out the critical listening test part. What benefit to this communicty could it possibly have by talking about his type of measurement. Look at and compare the LCR and geometry properties of the cables would probably lead to more meaningful outcomes. |
