It’s interesting that you suggest those two things are mutually exclusive. It’s obvious to most here that they’re not. But what’s even more interesting is your comment about religion. Arguably, it’s the "objective" measurementalist who’s following his faith, believing he knows that certain things sound the same because measurements "prove" it.

I think you’d be surprised how many users here have conducted "science based" tests.

@toro3 : I never sent you a private message. I do not support or endorse Kimber, Cardas, Nordost ... or any of these rip-off cable companies. I did buy five pairs of AudioQuest Silver Extreme RCA's from HCM for $450 when I was flush with money because I wanted something that looked nice.
