I like how people who believe their ears (but not objective science, kind of like a religion) yet badmouth other audio sites or tell folks to not waste their time reading anything from there. They're too afraid to do a science based test to support their beliefs because they know (or should know if they're even middle school smart) they wouldn't be able to tell a Blue Jeans cable from Nordost or Wireworld's most expensive cables.
Cable Wars - ASR Review of Kimber KS 1036 Silver RCA Cable ($4500 pair)
Pretty much a "measured" tie with an Amazon cable...

@gkelly A poor analogy. It's a performance test. Does the car that looks like a Formula 1 go faster than a Chevette? THAT's the question. So they ran 1/4 mile track test and then they ran a road course with EXACT same lap times. NO difference. As it turns out the Formula 1 'that was tested' was no faster in any category. None, Nada, zilch!! It was FALSE to suggest it was faster when ,in fact, it was NOT faster. Remember... it's impossible for any cable to make things sound better. (or go faster) A cable can only make it sound worse.(go slower) In this case they were equal performers. If you have proof of this being incorrect please present your evidence. Otherwise it really is a stupid argument.

@j-wall No it isn’t. F1 drivers survive high- speed crashes because of how well the cockpit is designed. There has been only one fatality since Senna and that was in 2015. Suggesting a driver would survive the same crash in a Chevy is stupid.

@roadcykler #1 "The emperor has no clothes" is an idiom describing a situation where an obvious truth is ignored or denied by a group, despite being apparent to everyone, usually due to fear, social pressure, or collective delusion. It highlights hypocrisy and conformity, often when people pretend a weak or foolish idea is brilliant. |
