JBL L100 Classic speaker posts

Is this not supposed to go into the post all the way? Or is it my speaker wire? Thanks!

Next take a look at your L100's with the stock crossover to see if there is an inductor on the woofer. If not then get an inductor to replace the one on the stock crossover. That will be a significant improvement for the L100.
