Transparent Audio XLR question for those who use their XLR interconnects
Upgrading all of my cables starting from a Modwright Oppo CD running into a Krell Evo 202 pre and then to a pair of mono Krell EVO 600's powering Revel Salon 1"s. First i purchased a pair of Gen 6 Super speaker cables and the improvement was very noticeable all across the board. I still had my old MIT Proline XLR interconnects and decided to try a Gen 6 Super XLR interconnect from the Oppo to the Pre and the sound went backward. Is the pre to amp MIT XLR holding me back from the improved sound i was expecting? Maybe i need the synergy of the other Transparent Audio XLR between the pre and amp ? Other's who have TA what has been your experience? Was planning on getting the GEN 6 XLR for pre to amp but having second thoughts now with the sound going backwards with the first TA XLR. TIA!!!
