@reubent I have A Charlie Brown Christmas (Zoetrope Picture Disc LP) × 1 - Craft Recordings in the mail and an itchy finger for that UQHR.  Will see how the Craft sounds first.

@cjjeeper - I don't think my copy of "A Charlie Brown Christmas" is anything special. Just a modern reissue on green vinyl that I bought at the beginning of this year. But, I love it! It's a great record and holds a special place in my heart. I'm tempted to buy the newly released UHQR version, but I enjoy my pedestrian version so much, I don't know if the UHQR would make me any more happy. It would lighten my wallet by $150.

If anyone buys the UHQR, please post your impressions.

BTW, Fremer's review on Tracking Angle is an interesting read. Discusses the hoops they had to go through to master the UHQR from the badly damaged original tapes, adding a tiny bit of digital trickery to fix some damaged spots.
