Speaker Positioning

@soix The OP is asking a hypothetical question.  However, they also asked about Fyne 703 in September, which need 3' minimums.

If you need more Bass closer to the wall , many people don’t have these recommended distances , one of my SF SPEAKERS ARE DOWN FIRING AND CAN BE CLOSE TO WALLS , IF PORTED FRONT OR BACK , OR SEALED 

IN MY LARGE ROOM I HAVE THEM 10 inches from the front wall and 18 from the side wall and sound good toed in from behind the tweeter just pointing to the outside of the ear , you always have to move an inch hear or there to fine tune your setup.

I didn’t see what size your room is but you would be surprised with how big a speaker you can fit in a smaller room that is controlled. Good luck !

That’s not a small room by any means
