I didn’t see what size your room is but you would be surprised with how big a speaker you can fit in a smaller room that is controlled. Good luck !

The info was for the Fyne F703SP (which I am considering), but the question was more of a general nature when it comes to manufacturer recommended placement.

I’d think 2 feet from the side walls should still be very workable, especially if you can treat first reflections that you really should do anyway if at all possible.
