Who here continues to regularly use a CD player?

I do have a CD player, however, at this point, I rarely use it. I mostly listen to vinyl and stream.

Do you still regularly use your CD spinner?

We invite couples over and have rock out nights. 2-hour concerts. Favorite is the Blu-ray of Eagles @ Melhorn. Its recording is perfect. At least for a live performance. 110-112 db. Concerts...Every single guest has said "I’ve never heard anything like THAT in my life"! Until someone figures out a way to duplicate these Blu-rays, I’ll be using the Oppo.

I still use my legacy Nakamichi CD player as I have a good CD collection as well as vinyl. And some recordings made in the late 1980s and 1990s were only recorded on CD, so this doesn't interfere with my listening choices. However, I must say that I have been thinking of upgrading to the TEAC VRDS 701t cd transport.

Silver discs only. CDs and SACDs are 100% of my listening.

Absolutely no interest in any other source or media.

I still play CDs.     I've discovered some great artists and music via streaming but for overall sound quality I prefer my Teac 701t Transport .   I play vinyl too but that  player sounds amazing.

I just bought my first music streamer, an Innuos Stream1, and plan on ripping my 600 CDs direct to the 4TB M.2 SSD I installed in it. I replaced the Cambridge CXC CD Transport in my cabinet with an Oppo BDP-103 to play my SACDs and DVD-Audio discs.

I want to own my music and will keep my CDs and continue to buy my favorites. I signed up with Qobuz to test streaming and have loved how high resolution music is sounding so look forward to finding new music. I have a lot to learn.

I don't see either replacing my current preference for spinning records but who knows.
