@roper I want you to know I don’t mean any disrespect - this is my honest feedback…I understand we all work within limitations…
Looking at your system I’m struggling to understand how a $10,000 Shunyata Everest is a fit. You are running an AV receiver of some sort using it to drive a pair of B&W 805s. Your source and amplification are low to mid fi. The system is lopsided with nice B&Ws.
The room acoustics aren’t even a conversation there. Sub is right in front of the speaker creating additional reflections. It looks like the system is parked there for storage.
Everything has to match. You can’t put a Shunyata Everest on an AV receiver with mediocre, at best, source components and expect some miracle. That’s a system where cables and power conditioner should be the last thing on your mind.
Upgrading components and addressing room acoustics as well as speaker placement should be the priority for that system.
