The $250 power cables and $600 power strip that dethroned my $10k Shunyata Everest

Hello fellow audiophiles. I've been using products from QSA Lanedri who I believe offer the best price to performance ratio on the market today for their power and signal cables. You may have heard of Quantum Science Audio fuses and might even have some installed in your system. QSA Lanedri have perfected this technology/treatment and are now offering it in their power and signal products. The line of products in particular is called Veridion Discovery which is their most affordable line. I currently own 2 Veridion Discovery power strips (daisy chained), 8 power cables, 3 ethernet cables, 1 DC cable. Initially I was sent a power and ethernet cable to try and was so impressed I ordered more including the power strips. I have been comparing their power cables to much more expensive cables from Audioquest and Furutech. I've also been comparing their power strip to my Shunyata Everest power conditioner and found I prefer the Discovery power strip. Infact I'm in the process of trading in my Shunyata Everest and corresponding Sigma X power cable for either a better integrated amplifier or speakers. Once you pair up Discovery power cables with the Discovery power strip things improve dramatically. Not only does audio improve but picture quality and home cinema improves also and will challenge anything at any price. I will say the Discovery line requires a few days of continuous use or "burn in" period before proper evaluation. I compared their Ethernet cables to the likes of Audioquest Diamond and Wireworld Platinum Starlight 8 and again preferred the Discovery line. Through the Discovery products music sounds cleaner and clearer with a heightened sense of realism. This also applies to film and TV. Compared to the Shunyata Everest picture quality is now cleaner with more vibrant colours. Motion and panning shots are improved with less stutter. I will add that I have the power strips on Auva EQ CSA1 isolation footers. All of my equipment is sitting on Auva EQ footers which I found were better than the Isoacoustic Oreo footers I had previously. The Discovery products look very basic and don't scream high end but from my experience they can go toe to toe with the best at very affordable prices! They offer a 30 day money back guarantee for peace of mind. Definitely worth a look. Cheers.

Wow, dayam, thought Shunyata was done by some quantum scientist phd or whatever....(or is he just faking it with the GED?, can't ever be sure)

But, another quantum scientist sprouted outta nowhere and beat out the Shunyata quantum guy at a affordable price, eh?

Lots of quantum guys around these days.....

Hey, you know.... when you look at yourself in the mirror or look at your hand or power cable or power strip in front of you....... You all ain't really there....You are just appearing and disappearing hundred of thousands of times per second in a quantum fashion n all.

So, i have no confidence in buying all your quantum stuff from you quantum shunyata guys and whomever else man...... You may just be appearing and disappearing...you may take my money and you may disappear, you product might disappear, it may fail to reappear (while it did so thousands of times per second) after i paid up.

Quantum, quantum, You go Quantum Kings!!

@roper I want you to know I don’t mean any disrespect - this is my honest feedback…I understand we all work within limitations…

Looking at your system I’m struggling to understand how a $10,000 Shunyata Everest is a fit. You are running an AV receiver of some sort using it to drive a pair of B&W 805s. Your source and amplification are low to mid fi. The system is lopsided with nice B&Ws.
The room acoustics aren’t even a conversation there. Sub is right in front of the speaker creating additional reflections. It looks like the system is parked there for storage.

Everything has to match. You can’t put a Shunyata Everest on an AV receiver with mediocre, at best, source components and expect some miracle. That’s a system where cables and power conditioner should be the last thing on your mind.
Upgrading components and addressing room acoustics as well as speaker placement should be the priority for that system.

Again, don’t want you to misunderstand my intent. Hope this makes sense

Hi audphile1. No problem at all it's definitely not a high end system

by any means. The Rotel Michi X3 integrated drives the B&W's for 2

channel listening and the Gustard R26 is used as a streamer dac.

I have B&W surround speakers at the back. The Denon drives 5.1 speakers.

It's overkill for such a small space, but you go big or go home right lol.

The Dirac live software in the Denon has sorted out any room issues for movies.

Would love a larger space someday. Regarding better components I do aim to fix

that soon. Now that I'm selling the Everest and those other power cables

I'll be able to do just that. Looking at a higher end integrated first to drive

the B&W's. Cheers.

Thank you for showing your system. That is how you have it set up? You listen to it in that configuration?

If it was me, I would wait to sell the Everest and cables and check to see how it synergizes with my new upgraded boxes.
