Where are you located relative to Fairfax Station, VA? The reason I ask is that I will be there for the annual family gathering for Thanksgiving and would be happy to help you if you are reasonably close by. I do not have all my set up stuff with me, but as luck would have it I do have AnalogMagik with me so we can check everything. Frankly not much is needed for the ET2 as it is one of the easiest tonearms to set up ever made. I assume you have the air pump all sorted. All that you need are tools to mount the cartridge and a scale to set VTF. I set up turntables all the time, have been doing it since I was a college student in Seattle in the 1970s. I do this at no charge, it is just my hobby.
Looking for expert turntable setup guru
I am looking for an expert turntable setup guru.
I have contacted more than ten dealers and other shops up to one hundred miles away. Not a single one has shown any experience of performing the install.
Turntable is set up and working well. I need support to remove and install van den Hul cartridge. I am in the Washington DC area. I prefer someone to do it onsite.

@whart +1 Michael Trei is your man. He is in New York and is excellent. He recently did a complete install of a new turntable, tone arm, and cartridge for me and this is what he does. He also writes a column on turntables for one of the magazines and did one of the seminars at CAF on turntable set up. Nobody more qualified |
