Once you accumulate thousands and thousands of records, (and you get old and never cataloged them), it's kinda hard to remember what you have. I have pulled out and listened to A LOT of titles from all the ones posted on this thread and found many new artists. THANKS GUYS!!! |

I certainly owe a debt to the OP and of course those who soldier on… Great listening night last evening w visiting jazz musician friends… They chose the music … The Oscar Peterson Trio - Night Train…I believe meets the dayglow “ audiophile “ SQ grade, however had I mixed it , I would juice up Ray Brown… ha Belafonte - Sings the Blues APP reissue - fantastic SQ and certainly NOT the Carnegie concert ….just leave that there… Because we got on to a Ray brown kick, Ray brown and L Almedia - Moonlight Serenade - Jeton JET 33 004….. a lovely sonic and historical treasure…IMO Krall - Live in Paris just 2 cuts - Maybe You’ll Be There and her cover of Joni A Case of You which is IMO heart wrenching interpretation… Finished with a great concert attendance memory for our guests..’ Return to Forever - Romantic Warrior ( OP minty great bin dive find…. ) |
