Class D - A Fork in the Road

So it seems these newer Class D amps are splitting into two paths. Now I'm not asking which is better, the Purifi Eigentakt, or the GAN models. I am asking is if you can describe the sound of each compared to the other. I understand which one is better is subjective, and opinion based, but a general description would be helpful to make my choice closer to what I want to hear. Thanks.

+1 @ghdprentice - we can make generalizations about the warmth of GanFet or the movement of newer class D moving from sterile analytical neutral to increased warmth and engagement, but the non-specifics may not be helpful.

Don't forget Ice Modules and Hypex. Gallium Nitride affords higher switching speeds but you must pay handsomely to run power hungry speakers.

Class D audio. Makes very good little Ganfet amps , I bought their mono blocks for the Mrs , and their stereo for my Basss amp for speakers , and 3 adjustments for gain to match your equipment and verygood warranty ,pricing and trial period.

I recently purchased a Marantz PM-KI Ruby integrated amp that is Class D using Hypex NCORE technology. It rivals my Cronus Dark tube amp in SQ. I love the control it has over my speakers. Ken Ishiwata knew what he was doing, so this is a fine example of the implementation making the best of a given technology.
