"Did she keep me" is the better question.
The answer is yes.
@mahgister ...but did you keep the spouse?
An Audiophile Nightmare
I woke up this morning and knew I had to share with my fellow AGoners a bit of humor only we would truly understand. Last night asleep, I was suddenly awakened by what was perhaps the single worst nightmare I've ever experienced--one of my speakers had been moved without my permission. That's right, the left speaker was off by at least 2 inches after having spent God knows how many days of precise measuring, re-measuring, and listening. Waking up this morning, I still sensed an unusual disturbance in the force until I walked into my den and suddenly realized that, yes, it was all just a horrible nightmare and that my precious center image was still intact. The relief was incredible, and my morning coffee and Wordle were like heaven!

Funny, but what a relief for you in the end OP. When I said I wanted to replace my amplifier this week, my wife had the audacity to recommend, with utmost sincerity, that I ditch my entire kit and replace it with a Bose Revolution. Seriously, she did that, without a hint of irony or sarcasm. Horrifying. kn |
