An Audiophile Nightmare

I woke up this morning and knew I had to share with my fellow AGoners a bit of humor only we would truly understand. Last night asleep, I was suddenly awakened by what was perhaps the single worst nightmare I've ever experienced--one of my speakers had been moved without my permission. That's right, the left speaker was off by at least 2 inches after having spent God knows how many days of precise measuring, re-measuring, and listening. Waking up this morning, I still sensed an unusual disturbance in the force until I walked into my den and suddenly realized that, yes, it was all just a horrible nightmare and that my precious center image was still intact. The relief was incredible, and my morning coffee and Wordle were like heaven!

My cleaning woman doesn’t speak a word of English.  I have given up on asking her not to move the speakers so I taped their optimal position on the floor and every two weeks spend 15 minutes readjusting.

Y'all need therapy, medication and to fire a cleaning lady.

My cleaning lady works around my speakers and gear in my small listening space. She also speaks the language(assimilated) and is a citizen. She has been cleaning our home for 15 years. She also stays away from my gun safe in the MB closet I had it open one day and she freaked out.
