Eye Candy

This morning, while putting an LP on my turntable, I thought to myself, "man this thing is beautiful!" I then pondered briefly, as a group, what components do I enjoy looking at the most? Well, for me, turntables have to be the winner. Preamps--not so much.

What say you?

Felt like I was in the soundstage at times. Agree with others - wouldn’t mind a vintage Marantz lighting up the front end. For whatever reason I’ve always found these receivers so aesthetically pleasing.

I had a C-J Premier 11a Tube amp that used 6550 power tubes. The Svetlana 6550 tubes would produce a swirling violet/purple plasma inside the tube whilst on. This Plasma was mesmerizing to watch!! No other vacuum tube, that I'm aware of, does this!
