Eye Candy

This morning, while putting an LP on my turntable, I thought to myself, "man this thing is beautiful!"  I then pondered briefly, as a group, what components do I enjoy looking at the most?  Well, for me, turntables have to be the winner.  Preamps--not so much.

What say you?

Gentle glow of vacuum tubes on an amp during a late night session - especially if it’s the only light source in a darkened room.

Whether evening or day, aesthetically a tube amp does it for me; vacuum tubes just resonate with me.

There's enough variety in every kind of component, even some cables, that I find some quite creatively imagined and pleasing aesthetically...

A well-mastered LP is a thing of beauty as the light reflects off the grooves!

Yes the turntable has to be the one that trips my trigger but please do not dispurge the looks of a nice preamp the likes of Lamb, Audio Research...........Enjoy the music

Thought the same "thing" this morning when I  climbed out of bed and looked @ my wife.

Then I pondered, briefly, that I like Black Irish women the most as a group (even though I’m Scott’s Irish).

Most (all really) of my HiFi gear looks like crap - including the Thorens TD-125II/SME combo.
