T.H.E. New York International Audio Show

Sorry Kal, I should have said "An old show" as in NY once had such a show, yes definitely a new group and location. Would liked to have met, but unfortunately I will not be there, though one of my prototypes will be in the Orchard Audio Room 108. Hope you get a chance to stop in. Enjoy.

I attended today. It wasn’t what I expected (in a negative way). The venue was unassuming. No banners or anything to indicate a major audio show was underway. 
 

I bought a vip ticket that promised perks that were nonexistent. All I got was a cheap paper bracelet. 
 

However I wasn’t completely disappointed. It was my first show. I enjoyed overhearing experts discussing tariffs and music. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Guttenberg and Gingko Audio. I visited the PS Audio room featuring the new PMG line. Mr. McGowan was in the room but I was too shy to say hi.

It was a good experience. I’ll be back tomorrow and hope to run into other industry folks. I forgot to mention that I got a complementary copy of the bible—Stereophile.  
 

Inexplicably I can't find a single photo on the shows own Facebook page. No posts since the 22nd! Someone please tell them it might help.

Paul is a very down to earth person. Don’t be too nervous to walk up and say hello. I’m sure he would enjoy talking with you.
