Audiogon has gone too far, too fast with the ads!!!

I enjoy this site and completely understand and support their monetizing it more with ads, but it’s gone too far, too fast IMHO.  First it ran far too slowly, which they thankfully have improved, but we’re still left with ads popping up all over the place to the point of being overly intrusive, distracting, and annoying at least in my experience.  Past that, and even worse, if I try to post a response longer than a few sentences the site often refreshes and I lose what I’ve written, and that’s even with me proactively saving it as I’m typing (it happened twice while I typed this!!!) — this rarely happened before the advertising deluge. I just wish they’d back it off a bit at least until they can work out whatever limitations are causing these frequent and very frustrating issues.  Or maybe it’s just me?

@mitch2

Can  you please send your comments and screenshots to [email protected].

Please include as much info as possible so their Developers can review and fix it..  Obviously, this should not be happening.   Thanks.

BTW, I have switched to the Brave  Browser and everything is working

Incidentally, have y'all noticed the ad content? Sometimes it's like... "Comfy shoes older men love" or whatever. Can Franklin Mint be far behind?

I agree all, it is better than it was, which is probably why I did not type out first in word and then copy and paste.

@hgeifman - there is nothing much to show.  I finished the post, clicked "Post Your Response" and it immediately went to a log-in page.  I was for sure logged in when I started typing because just a minute or so before I tried to post, I had refreshed my "Activity Feed for Mitch2" page.

Things clearly are not what they used to be but I also get that Audiogon needs the income from the ads, and that there is a much higher level of security necessary to operate a site like this than previously.

@mitch2

I do not care if “Audiogon needs the income from the ads, and that there is a much higher level of security necessary to operate a site like this”.

Your issue “typed a forum thread response, then clicked "post" only to be prompted to relog-in to Audiogon” is a VERY serious Audiogon issue that must be fixed.

Please email Audiogon customer support so they can investigate further and solve the issue.  They  need to know description of the issue, what device you are using, operating system, etc. so they can solve your issue.

@hgeifman - Could my problems be related to my use of NordVPN?  However, it doesn't seem to affect any other sites.
