@bigkidz Again, you did not answer what piece of GroverHuffman equipment you worked on. I will calling him later to find out if he or his friends know of you. He is very careful to choose NOS high quality capacitors and electrical parts throughout his units. Maybe you replaced a knob or toggle switch? Funny you mention Art Audio as those pair of old monoblock amps for about $20K are probably similar to the one’s Grover restored perfectly several years ago after they were abused and run down (looked trashed). He is so smart he filed and received a cable patent without an attorney, without a college degree either. He has been building and repairing electronics for about 40+ years (he was also a professional photographer/developer/printer prior to audio electronics). He also can repair motor vehicles, household appliances, etc).
What Lampizator piece of equipment did you work on? Was it a DHT model or a recent non-DHT model?
What model and what type of work did you do on a Jay’s Audio transport? If it wasn’t a transport, I’m not familiar with their other equipment.
Cary equipment could use some work. I never heard or met anyone with a Cary DAC.
I’m 100% certain that you never worked on a Westminster Labs product. Or Trafomatic.
