Recommended a highly resolving cartridge

Hi all, all tube system that is warm with a good midrange presence inherently. I’m looking for a cartridge that offers high detail / resolution and wide / deep soundstage. This is on a stock SL-1200G TT. On a side note, if anyone has experience “upgrading” the stock tonearm on a G please chime in. I’ve read conflicting reports of the merits of such a move, and while I’m very happy with the tone of my TT and am not looking to move off of it, I am curious about a tonearm swap (must allow for headshell swapping).

I've got a 1200G and recently replaced a previous cart with a Hana Umami Red and I couldn't be happier; you want detail and resolution and musicality, you got it!

Lyra was my thought as a cart that would tick all the boxes for me, notably the Kleos. Would it be considered heresy if I sent my Urushi to be rebuilt to my specs? Would that even be possible?

Since Audio Technica is mentioned, search the archives here and SH forums on the ART9.

There's plenty of rave reviews for a reason. The price has spiked like most things, but still less than other $2K+ carts($1699) and competes with maybe $5K+ models.

Soundsmith is another to look at.

I'm a recent Lyra Delos convert. Research the many threads on it. I found one for 1/3 of new and low mileage.
