News help choosing a SACD Player / transport

I am very satisfied with my actual system and I like specially my Lampizator DAC sound.

On the other hand, I have some SACD discs which I have ripped, but I feel I do not get same quality when listening to them using a Esoteric player, that a friend has lent for testing if I find differences with the ripped files.

Please, need advice on a SACD player or transport that I could connect to my DAC USING the SACD layer (DSD)

Price is not the main driver although I prefer staying under $5000 and used gear is acceptable.

With the new UHQCD process, are SACD becoming unessessary?  I like that UHQCDs do not require special equipment.  Any CD player will do.

Lots of confusion in the advice you are getting!

I don't think you have stated what model Lampizator DAC you have?

My guess is that it handles a maximum of two channels, and probably has no HDMI input?

I also have the Teac 701t, it's a great machine.

@richardbrand  It is a Golden Atlantic. You are right: it has not HDMI input.

It has coaxial, BNC and optical besides the USB input, the actually used.

@OP - To clarify a comment in one of the posts above: it is true that many - in fact the majority - of SACDs are derived from PCM files. That is because the vast majority of the DAWs that they are mixed on are PCM based. However, most of those recordings are output at sample rates and wordlengths that are higher that 16/44. There is zero point in buying an SACD transport if the accompanying DAC is not fully compatible with it. 

Your budget is getting close to the price of an Esoteric K-05XD and you can certainly find a preowned one within your budget. It is an outstanding player.
