Roy Thomas Baker has passed away

I loved him. If Candy O was the only album he ever produced, he should still be famous just for that. Of course there were many others.  A gifted man.

The guys behind the scenes like him do not get enough credit.

A titan in the industry. I had the pleasure/displeasure of attending a mixing session with him. Pleasure, because it was informative, exhilarating, and educational. Displeasure because RTB mixed at a SPL that even seasoned rock musicians found alarming. I’m going to pull out some of his work and crank it up now.
