@alightronics melody have you fixed the premature failure problems common among psvane tubes? |
Hi Melody, I bought a used two and a half year old preamp a few months back. The seller proudly stated it came with three new matched pair of PSVANE Art 12au7 tubes. Within six weeks of my purchase, five of the six started making a loud thumping noise! Obviously, I have had to buy new tubes. I bought three different sets to hear the differences . All three sets including a NOS set all work great. I emailed Vivatubes and got a song and dance, you bought used, do you have a receipt? With your bad quality control and their horrible customer service, I will never buy PSVANE tubes again and I will steer everyone away from buying them and dealing with Vivatubes. |
