聖HIJIRI Users thread

Based on a discussion with another forum member, I've been reading up on this Comback Corporation brand. The reviews I've found have been pretty positive, but I've also learned over the years to take all reviews with a grain of salt. So the purpose of this thread is for users to share their input on 聖HIJIRI cables. When you share, if you'd discuss what model of HIJIRI you demoed and what brands/models they were compared to, that'd be very helpful.

A little background: a few years ago I was reading the Audio Envy threads and decided to give them a try as the seemed to compete with much higher-priced cable.  So I decided to give AE a try. I found both the $179 P2 and the $279 M3 to easily best an Isotek power cord at $1k. So that got me thinking even more about value products. I was about to give Zavfino a try and then was given another recommendation to give HIJIRI a try. So this is how I got here. I'll be very interested to hear all user comments on HIJIRI and this should be a good repository for the brand.

@ozzy , I am very surprised at your posts here. No basis in truth and disappointing to me. We all paid Ozzy. I never met @lalitk, however I would love to. We never even emailed on Hijiri before I purchase mine. No, I am not going to defend with anymore words. I and we don’t need to. It seems I can’t help you Ozzy.

I post like you on stuff I like and that I payed for on trial. Period. If you don’t believe me, then that is on you and keep it to yourself. I do not deserve and have not earned your disparaging  comments on my character.

So, what is it that made you to decide to spend so much $$$ on an unproven / no name product from Japan?

Ozzy,

I paid for them with a 14-day trial.I have already said that I auditioned speakers that I also paid for, but then returned for a full refund.

I've enjoyed and appreciated your posts over the years, but your posts and behavior in this thread has been an embarrassment. Frankly, I don't give a rat's ass what you believe. But your questioning the integrity of longtime members is pathetic.

Well, that’s not the way I read your comments. It sounded like after you auditioned the product then you bought it.

So, I ask you the same question: What made you decide to spend so much money to "try" the product?

Nothing on the website description or reviews makes me want to send so much money in the hope of getting a refund if I don’t like it. Even if the seller is a "great guy".

I dunno, perhaps because I am retired and value my money more that makes me wonder...

Then don’t buy Ozzy. That is no reason to put others down. No connection between the two. Right? I personally would not care if they did not have a website.

I am not going to say anymore on this because you have already derailed a thread meant for honest sharing of experiences. This happens all the time here now. Ozzy is even doing it. So saddens me really. Yup, I care about folks here and like to share what little knowledge I have. So yes this really saddens me.

 

Ozzy, I am not sure what happened here, but I know we share a common passion and come here to learn, advise and have community.
