Many people prefer to have a CLEAN Original box...for any gear. If you send it in just the original boxes dont be surprised that they get it with holes and many marks/discoloration on it. I once sent 20K+ ARC Amps in their original WHITE BOXES and when they arrived 3 days later to the customer they were almost completely BLACK. He took photos. NO IDEA how the hell that happened in just 3 days. |

+1 for riaa.... If you're in a position to be able to put a second box on the original packing, it would be a winner. I used to box up speakers from the loudspeaker manufacturer I worked for, and ship around the globe. Stand mount speakers in cardboard with foam had a soft material wrapped over speakers to not scratch the finish. His larger 165lb floor standers went into ply crates, on a baby pallet. It was an expensive learning experience, I often wondered if a GoPro attached might show them being dropped, rolled, or heavy items dropped onto them in transit?! |
