Pretty old machine and was decent in its day. Remember comparing it against a CAL Tercet at local shop and everyone felt the CAL was more musical and more acceptable on appearance as well. I’d be surprised if for the same money a new Marantz wouldn’t be the better player today. I’d personally be concerned if you find one still working how much life is left. If you have one and just curious of what others think I’d just enjoy it. If you’re looking to buy, it just depends how cheap you can pick it up but I wouldn’t spend much.

Transports are no longer available for these very old units.  Personally, I would give it a pass unless you can buy it for a few bucks.
