Kinki Studios EX-M1 Volume knob

Is it normal for the volume knob to push in and out a little bit and side to side feeling like it’s loose? Thank you

The first version (heat sinks same color as case) used a different type of volume control and it did have some movement. My current version EX-M1+ has no movement in either direction but it is a different VC unit from the original.
