Furutech XLRs--shape of solder points?

I can't see from pictures just how the soldering points on the better Furutech XLRs are shaped. Are they blades? Pins with holes? Gutters? What are you presented with when mating a wire to these XLRs? Also, how do you rate them compared to other high-end models from other makers? I want to solder a 2.5mm silver ribbon to each of these contacts--would another brand be a better contact-point interface? Thanks!

the furutechs are gutter solder points, very hard to solder anything but round wire. the best i have found for ribbon cable is the x shadow balanced connectors. the have screw crimp connections , good luck, chris
