The New Synergistic Research Purple Fuses
Those who have purple fuses that are fully broken in, how do they improve over time versus when they are newly installed? I am already quite happy with what I’m hearing after less than 24 hours. If it gets significantly better in the next 3 or 4 d...
The New Synergistic Research Purple Fuses
Just got in an SR purple fuse, and replaced the QSA light blue in my CD transport. Initial results, after forty minutes or so of listening, it is already handily beating the QSA light blue in musicality and involvement. The change is not at all su...

Listening to music I don’t particularly like
I’ve found that if a change in my systems gets me listening to, and enjoying, music I’m less fond of, or don’t usually listen to, that’s a good sign. Have you you ever found yourself being drawn into and enjoying live music, when it’s a type or ...
The New Synergistic Research Purple Fuses
Got an SR purple on the way for my CD transport. I’ve been pretty happy with the QSA light blues in all my gear, and felt they bettered the SR orange. With all the good reports about the SR purple, here and elsewhere, though, I had to give it a tr...
Adding an ignore list feature to audiogon
I actually thought the idea of giving individual members the ability to hide posts they don't want to see would be relatively non-controversial🙄
Quantum Science Audio Thread
Anyone else besides myself and millercarbon tried the QSA stones? What about the outlets, has anyone tried those?

Part of being tolerant of opposing views is choosing not to respond every single time you see one expressed. If, every time someone expresses an opposing view, you feel the need to respond to/refute it, who is the one being intolerant?
Adding an ignore list feature to audiogon
"The feature you're proposing would be contributing to polarization." Like there's not already a bunch of highly polarized people here?! Being tolerant of opposing views is one thing, not wanting to have them shoved down your throat is another.

Although some might call it it "censorship", it is not. Censorship is an individual, or smaller group, deciding what a larger group can, or cannot, see. An individual deciding what they want to see, or not see, is freedom. An ignore list feature w...
If a " system " cannot do this, I move on........
I wonder how many out there are actually running stock, unmodified Klipsch horns? I think there’s an unwritten rule among Klipsch users requiring them to make DIY mods, or have someone else do it😉
Adding a “safe haven” forum for discussion of tweaks?
I know I am probably tilting at windmills, but I had to put it out there😉
Adding a “safe haven” forum for discussion of tweaks?
Aside from the fact that I am already invested here, I find the format on AA really cumbersome.
Ridiculous assertions that someone is being ripped off or conned
"Or just post this stuff over there." The thing is, I am invested in this forum. I am familiar with the characters, and greatly appreciate the contribution of many members, even some that I disagree with😉
